My recommendations
These recommendations are not based on any lists or awards or anything besides my own personal tastes and those of the children in my life. I used to listen to audiobooks in the car all the time (trust me, it was ALL THE TIME!) so I have either read or listened to most of them. I was going to star some of my favorites but I found that I was starring most of them!!
SportsHeat - Mike Lupica
Travel Team - Mike Lupica Jackie and Me (Baseball card series) - Dan Gutman Babe and Me (Baseball card series) - Dan Gutman Satch and Me (Baseball card series) - Dan Gutman ( My son loves these stories of a kid that travels through time using a baseball card, I really like these too) Rivals - Tim Green Football Hero - Tim Green Football Genius - Tim Green (actually really I like all of his books and so does my son, he started reading these in the 5th grade and still reads them now in the 7th grade) Last Shot, a Final Four mystery - John Feinstein (There are a whole series of these mysteries that have both a female and a male protagonist (good guys) that take place at various sporting events such as the Super Bowl, World Series, and the Olympics.
